Review on Enchanted, Hero, and Dearest by Alethea Kontis

Dearest (Books of Arilland #4)Dearest by Alethea Kontis

My rating: 1 of 5 stars

This is more of a short summary of my thoughts on Enchanted, Hero, and Dearest overall.

To begin with, the world-building and characters are very fun, and the storylines promising. However, it goes downhill from there.
What could have been a fun, clean, sweet romance/fairytale, was littered with profanity, crude remarks, nudity, and creepy false gods and faeries. This is NOT a series I will be recommending. In fact, I didn’t even finish Dearest because of the creepy/morbid factor.

If your looking for a fun fairytale/romance that is clean, read some of Melanie Dickerson’s books.
If you like a little more of the darker magic and Faerie realm, read Entwined by Heather Dixon or the Tales of Goldstone Woods by Anne Elisabeth Stengl.
